This album was recorded live direct to twelve track onto VHS tape with soviet tube mics on dumble amps in an abandoned church on the outskirts of Stull, Kansas. Each track of the console had hand-wired transformers made from reappropriated hair curlers, papyrus, and stolen copper wiring. Individual effect sends included such saturators and processors as a tank battery, an aquarium, and several potatoes in multiple states of rot and growth. The performative aspects of the recording include unicycling around a helicopter, shooting high-powered lasers through various thrift shop crystal glasses, electrocuting sparrows, monitoring my colonoscopy with a voltmeter hooked to a CV/midi converter, and taking copious amounts of acid before falling asleep on a Yamaha SY77. I would like to thank the staff of the Lawrence Coal Plant for their devoted assistance in repairing the local power grid after the events that transpired.
